C.A.R. Magazine Editors: Member 11 and older submitting the best article on the Children’s Room- Elizabeth Leon

Government Studies: Member 11 and older best article or puzzle on the U.S. Supreme Court and the Justices – Elizabeth Leon

Kids Helping Kids:  Member 11 and older with the most community service hours helping children – Elizabeth Leon

Magazine Fund: Society donating the most money to the Magazine Fund through Magazine Fund pins and donations to the Magazine Fund from 3/1/2009 – 2/28/2010

Mountain Schools:  Member sending the most Labels for Education and/or Box Tops for Education to the Mountain Schools – Elizabeth Leon                                                                         

Museum Advisory:  Member 11 and older submitting the best article of a museum display or artifact - Elizabeth Leon

National Merit Award: Certificate of participation for entering the National Merit Award

Public Relations: Honorable Mention for publishing 4 issues of newsletter “Mount Vernon Views”           

Veterans: Honorable Mention for donation to Veteran’s Tribute
