State Theme: Preserving the Past, for the Children of Tomorrow

State Project:
To raise funds for a marble bench to be placed by the grave of John Hunter, a drummer boy in the Revolutionary Army, who is buried in Congressional Cemetery.

To collect signatures for the National Women's History Museum Act (HR 1700)
giving the NWHM a permanent home on the National Mall.

To raise funds to aid in the restoration and preservation of the Morris Island Lighthouse. By working with Save the Light, Inc., a non-profit organization located in Charleston, South Carolina, we will have a greater opportunity to provide financial aid to the lighthouse.
